Her  ancestor's were bought to America by way of the slave trade from Africa.    Alma’s  DNA
            records  revealed that Alma’s genetic make up is 35% Benin/Togo, 34% Cameroon, Congo,&

            Southern Bantu Peoples,  12% Ivory Coast/Ghana, 7% Ireland & Scotland,  7% Mali, 3% Nigeria,

             1% Norway and 1% Philippines.



            The slave traders delivered her forefathers to Johnson and Nash Counties, in North Carolina; where she
            was born.  The small town of Middlesex, NC is Alma  lived until she was twelve years old.  The population was
            588 people and mostly farmers.   Farming was how her grandparents made a living.  Alma moved to Philadelphia

            Pennsylvania when she was twelve with her mother and her slings.  All grown up she moved to Tampa,  FL
            after her military service in 1980.
